These Genuine Smart 453 rear lights will transform the back end of your Smart to give it that ultra-modern look. Using LED technology means that they will offer better illumination whilst driving at night so not only look good but also keep you safe!

Please Note:

• Once installed these clusters on some models of 453 will show a “Brake lamps inoperative” warning message on your driver’s instrument cluster when you have Sidelights turned on only. This error will disappear when full normal lights or auto-lights are selected.
• We recently installed this on a March 2017 vehicle and the above message appeared regardless of what light setting the vehicle was on but is easily dismissed and does not cause any interference when driving (No other lights or messages that hang around). The lights work perfectly well even with the message.
• In our experience, it is not fully necessary to code the system if you’re not too bothered about the small warning which can easily be dismissed at the beginning of your journey by pressing the OK button on your steering wheel. Plus it’s not worth the additional expense. 
• Before purchase, you must be happy with the above notes as we cannot be held responsible for the error.
