VW Transporter T6 Reversing Camera Retrofit

The latest Genuine Volkswagen Reversing Camera for the Volkswagen Transporter T6. It’s suitable for both Barn door & Tailgate Models. Suitable for vehicles between 2016 and 2019.

With a T6 Transporter, California or Caravelle you want to ensure that you keep it looking new and in mint condition. Well this Volkswagen Reversing Camera is the retrofit for you. It’s great for spotting those low level objects, hooking up to a trailer or squeezing into that tight space.

Using all Genuine VW parts from the wiring looms to the camera to the module, this system will fit in perfectly into your Transporter T6 and will look and work as if it were fitted from factory. The only version available at the moment is the Lowline System with static guidelines.

This system will integrate with your factory Optical Parking System (If you already have it installed) and will provide a pretty nifty overlay on top of the Reverse Feed.

This Genuine Camera System is Compatible with the following headunits:

• Composition Media
• Discover Media & Media Plus

Please Note the following Composition Media Systems are not compatible with any Reversing Camera due to them not having the required Software / Hardware.

VW California / Camper Conversion

Due to the amount of extra work involved with any sort of Camper Conversion (Factory or Aftermarket) and installing any type of Camera from Rear to Front, there is an additional Surcharge of £100

Please Note: 

• If you have the Tailgate (Up-and-Over) the installation takes much longer due to the fact it has a double skin metal sheet instead of a plastic grab-handle. 
• As per VW blurb, the reversing camera is only a guide to give you an idea of what’s behind you. The guidelines for instance are to show the intended trajectory of the vehicle and not representative of the width or parking bays. You must use this system in conjunction with other driving aids such as sensors and mirrors.
• Due to the type of work involved and what is required we may not be able to offer on site installation but we will confirm this when you get in touch with us prior to purchase.
• If you have a T6 California Beach or Ocean then there will be additional £50 Charge applied due to the extra work involved due to the Factory Installed Conversion.
