Please Note:

  • Suitable only for the VW T6 & T6.1 with Tailgate (Not Barn Doors).
  • If your vehicle has standard halogen rear lights then you will be required to remove the existing plug and re-wire a new plug to the vehicle wiring loom. If you choose Supply Only Option then a wiring guide will be provided. If you also want dual Reverse Light and Dual Rear Fog then extra wiring will need to be run from one light to the other if you wish to have dual but this is not a requirement to install. 
  • If your vehicle has LED Rear Lights then they will be plug-and-play. (T6 Only)
  • *If you have a T6.1  – Specific CODING MUST BE COMPLETED FOR THESE LED LIGHTS TO FUNCTION. This can only be carried out here at our workshop due to what is involved!
  • VCDS Coding will be required to prevent a “Bulb-Out” Warning. (T6 Only)
  • On some vehicles, the indicator arrow on the dashboard will rapidly flash but the outside indicator will be fine. This can be resolved by fitting an inline resistor (Included in the kit if you want to install it).
  • T6.1 Models will require specific “ADAPTATION” Coding before these lights will work correctly. (As Above)
Genuine Volkswagen Transporter T6.1 Rear LED Light Upgrade For T6 & T6.1* – Tailgate Models Only

Upgrade your existing VW Transporter T6 or T6.1* (Tailgate) with the awesome LED Rear Lights that are available on the higher-spec VW Transporter T6.1’s.

There are two kits available depending on whether your current vehicle has the standard Halogen Rear Lights or LED Rear Lights currently installed. These new lights are full LED with an ultra-modern look to give you the new T6.1 Look. The light clusters are Genuine VW Equipment.

This can be supplied as a kit or installation is available at our workshop in Poole, Dorset.

Depending on which version you go for (Either Halogen or LED Currently Installed) will depend on what you will receive. We supply the whole kit to do the job to make the installation as easy and as “OEM” as possible.

T6 with Factory Halogen Lights Currently Installed

  • 1x 3 Metre Wiring Loom with Genuine Pins and Grommets

  • 2x Premium Slim Resistors
  • 1x 3 Metre Wiring Loom with Genuine Pins and Grommets

T6.1 with Factory Halogen Lights Currently Installed

  • 2x Genuine VW LED Light Clusters
  • 2x Genuine VW Plugs
