This kit came about when we were upgrading the audio of one of our Transporters and realised that there wasn’t a decent “kit” available that was simple to fit. Lots of places suggesting to use T5 versions but the fitting is simply not good enough, things didn’t line up and were causing issues when installing the Speakers and the window glass within the door.

This system will allow you to fit any 16.5cm front component door speaker. For example we highly recommend and fit the Alpine SPG-17CS (Which you can see installed in the pictures).

You simply drill out the rivets of the existing T6 Speakers (Making sure to catch the flak), drill these holes in the door skin slightly bigger and then install the new speaker pods with the bolts and locking nuts. These pods are made out of quality Automotive grade plastic which helps prevent any extra rattle or resonance.
