We sell this antenna with 1x aftermarket FAKRA extension so that you can get the connection to the back of your head unit. If you wish to connect up FM2 then please get in touch or check the tick box at the point of purchase.
If you intend on installing this with an aftermarket Stereo / Head Unit that has Digital Radio (For the OEM install) then please contact the manufacturer if it is suitable and if an extra connector is needed. Not having the right connection could potentially damage your aftermarket stereo or the antenna itself.

Genuine VW T5.1 / T6 DAB Mirror Antenna

It’s as simple as it sounds. It’s the real deal, the real McCoy a Genuine Volkswagen / VW T5 DAB Antenna that is installed into the Driver side Wing Mirror to give you Digital Radio Reception.

This is the way Volkswagen ships out the Transporter T5.1 / T6 when it has been factory spec with DAB.

The Antenna is installed behind the factory Wing Mirror Cover and the wiring is then fed through the Mirror base through the door and then into the cockpit of the van. It includes a pre-installed Antenna Amplifier to help boost the signal. It also has FM2 (Works in conjunction with your Passenger wing mirror antenna).

It’s suitable for the Transporter T5.1, T6, Caravelle and California (With the newer style mirrors)
