Please note:

  • The original airbag will be used from your current factory steering wheel for the new Multi-Function Steering Wheel Upgrade.
  • Depending on the spec of your vehicle will depend on what buttons will or will not work with your equipment fitted.
  • Pictures are for illustration only. Wheel supplied may differ slightly please get in contact if you need something specific. 

VW Transporter T5.1 Notes:

  • When fitting to a VW T5.1 you need to ensure you have an 087 BCM that has a software revision higher than 0423 if you want illumination on your buttons if fitting a T6 wheel to it!
  • TRIP functions will be limited via the wheel if you have the lower-spec instrument cluster (Half Moon Fuel Gauge).

In almost every situation the vehicle will require a wiring loom to be installed and coding changes to be made for MFSW to work effectively.

If you have a T5.1 Transporter and opt for an original T5.1 wheel, this will illuminate with no problem, BUT if you decide to install a T6 wheel the software on your BCM must be higher than 0423 for this to work (only the illumination is affected by the BCM software).

T6s’ are not affected at all!
