Volkswagen Golf 8 (CD) Gas Bonnet Strut Upgrade

The New Volkswagen Golf 8 is here and we are now able to upgrade it with a Genuine Volkswagen Gas Bonnet Strut and remove the manual bonnet stay.

Something that we thought we would never have to offer as an Upgrade but one that we were asked to put together. For some reason the new Golf 8 now comes with a manual bonnet stay which requires you to lift and put in place a heavy bonnet!

We’ve put together a really simple kit (Using Genuine VW Parts) and a How-To Video on how you can change this back to something much easier to use!
